All Saints Higher Walton and Ferraris Longridge

Just been uploading some more clips from last years weddings on to our Vimeo site and thought I'd add them to the blog as well. This is the wedding highlights sequence taken from the wedding DVD of Julie and Neil. It was filmed on the 28th June 2010 at All Saints in Higher Walton followed by a reception at Ferraris Country House Hotel in Longridge. It was a gorgeous sunny day which made a lovely change...

We'll be back at Ferraris next month to film Suzy Ferraris wedding...looking forward to that :)

Gorgeous Winter Wedding...with Special Guest - Mr Snowman!

On the 18th December 2010 Sharon & Matthew had their wedding ceremony at St. Michael's Church in Much Hoole, Lancashire followed by a reception at the Leyland Hotel. The night before it had started to snow at about 6pm and it kept on snowing. We spent the next few hours checking to see if it was still falling...and worrying about getting to the wedding the next day. Saturday morning arrived and we left home and headed for the church with a couple of hours to spare as we weren't sure if we would be able to get there. Thankfully we did, all be it across some very slippy roads. As we arrived the church yard was a hive of activity as snow was busily being shovelled to clear a path. It was decided a good way to get rid of some of the snow would be to build a snowman and so we were able to film our very first wedding with a snowman in attendance.

Below are the montage and highlights sequence taken from the wedding DVD of the day...

There's a great clip of the groom and best man admiring Mr Snowman!

Despite the snow everything went off without a hitch and a great time was had by all.

From Sharon and Matt...

WE LOVE LOVE LOVE the DVD!! It is fab thanks so much - i have watched it loads already and love having the memories there and catching up on lots of missed bits
Thanks for your help and hard work

Colours...

So how do you choose your colour theme for your wedding?

This morning I found a link to Pantone and discovered the colour for 2011 is Pantone 18-2120 or Honeysuckle which in 'lay mens' terms is a gorgeous pink. But it did get me thinking about how you decided on a colour theme...do you choose the 'in' colour or do you choose your favourite colour? Does the season influence the colour?

When we got married...17 years ago...the bridesmaid was in a purple/mauve colour. It was quite a vibrant colour and I guess it was influenced by the time of year we were married...March and also because it suited the bridesmaid. Only one...which I guess is unusual these days as well.

Let me know what you think and what your favourite colours are...
